Manchester United fear Marouane Fellaini may need surgery to fix wrist injury Marouane Fellaini could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after damaging his wrist.
Manchester United’s only big-money signing of the summer missed Saturday’s 2-1 win at Sunderland and is
due to see a specialist to determine if surgery will be necessary. United manager David Moyes confirmed the Belgian
had damaged ligaments and admitted the initial prognosis was worrying. ‘He’s got a wrist injury. He’s going to see a specialist,’ Moyes said. ‘It doesn’t sound too good but we’ll wait and find out on Monday.’
If United’s worst fears are confirmed and Fellaini requires surgery he could be out for over a month. metro.co.uk/2013/10/07/manchester-united-fear-marouane-fellaini-may-need-surgery-to-fix-wrist-injury-4136887/
