Valencia president cannot rule out Vicente Guaita exit as Arsenal linked to goalkeeper
Valencia president Amadeo Salva says that although the club do not plan on allowing highly-rated goalkeeper Vicente Guaita to leave,
he cannot rule out an exit if the price is right.
Having watched his side's opening day win over Malaga from the bench, uncertainty has surrounded the Spaniard's future with Arsenal one club
who have been linked with his services.
The 26-year old has progressed through the ranks at the Mestalla and Salva insists that Guaita would only be allowed to leave if their valuation was met.
"Guaita is a world class keeper and Valencia has no need to sell. To allow him to go, we would have to study the price," he told Spanish newspaper Las Provincas.
"Currently the value is 30 million euros (£25million). At Valencia, what you want is to continue, although his agents have reported that if you are a substitute, you had better find a way out.
"This last point does not sit well with the board. Players can not fall into that temptation to go after every game with this type of attitude.
"If you do not play every week, you have to respect Valencia more."
