QPR Midfielder Park-Ji Sung Set To Re-Sign For PSV Eindhoven

Park-Ji Sung looks set to leave QPR with Voetbal International reporting the player to be on the verge of signing for Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
The former Manchester United star joined QPR in 2012 but failed to replicate the kind of form he showed at Old Trafford.
Park was initially made captain of the club by former manager Mark Hughes but that title was stripped from him following the arrival of Harry Redknapp at the club.
Injuries and poor form has prevented Park from making much of an impact at Loftus Road and it is thought both club and player decided it was best for him to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
QPR are currently in the process of trying to rebuild following their relegation from the Premier League last season.
A number of high profile players are expected to join Park out of the exit door this summer.
Park enjoyed three successful seasons at PSV between 2002 and 2005, where he put in a number of highly impressive performances.
He was much loved by the club’s fans, who will be looking forward to his return, despite his ageing years.
At 32 years old, there had been rumours that Park could retire this season, but that has been strongly dismissed by the player.

QPR midfielder Park Ji-Sung poised to join PSV Eindhoven on loan



Park Ji-Sung: Set to rejoin former club PSV on a season-long loan

Sky sources understand that QPR midfielder Park Ji-Sung's transfer to PSV Eindhoven on a season-long loan deal has been completed.
Confirmation is expected from both clubs that the South Korean has passed a medical and will return to his former side.
The 32-year-old has failed to make a significant impact since moving to Loftus Road from Manchester United last summer.
Having initially been named as QPR captain, he was then stripped of the armband after a series of niggling injuries and the appointment of Harry Redknapp as manager.
Park's first spell with PSV came in 2003 when he moved to Holland from J-League side Kyoto Purple Sanga, having impressing for South Korea at the 2002 World Cup as they reached the semi-finals.
He won the Eredivisie title in each of his two seasons in Eindhoven before moving to Manchester United, where he became the South Korean to play in the Premier League.
Park, who retired from international football in 2011, played in three World Cups and is one of eight South Koreans to have won 100 caps.
He didn't feature in QPR's opening game of the season, where they came from behind to register a 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday.
