Transfer news: Fulham expect to sign Adel Taarabt on loan on Tuesday
Fulham boss Martin Jol has confirmed Adel Taarabt will undergo a medical on Tuesday ahead of a proposed loan move from QPR.
Themercurialmidfielder has endured a tumultuous summer at Loftus Road andwas notincluded in their 18-man squad for the opening Sky BetChampionship gameof the season against Sheffield Wednesday.
Taarabtwas linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain over the summerbut nowappears set for a quick return to the Premier League aftersuffering theheartache of relegation last season.
Thetalented Moroccan playmaker was brought to England by Jol in thefirstplace as a teenager when the Dutchman was in charge at Tottenham.
Taarabtonly made a handful of starts for the White Hart Lane club,insteadtwice going out on loan to QPR, who he eventually joined on apermanentdeal in 2010 for a fee in the region of £1m.
Jol confirmed the news at a press conference after the Cottagers drew 1-1 with La Liga side Real Betis on Monday evening.

"Itis like Dimitar Berbatov - sometimes these fantastic talents willbeblamed but I hope to find a way to gel him in together with theboyswe've got.
"I think he can do a hell of a job for us because is a tremendous player on the ball.
"Ihave known him now for a long time. When I was at Hamburg, Iwanted himbut thought the money Daniel Levy asked for was too much.Then I went toAjax and I thought it was too much for a player thatnever played.
"ThenI was too late after that because he went to QPR, where he didever sowell. Remember the fact he was an over £10m player 12 monthsago, so Ithink you have to take them when they are bad and hopefully hewill showhis potential here."
