Arsenal forward Gervinho will sort out his future in the next fortnight – but is likely to leave the Emirates.
Gervinho did not join up on Arsenal’s two-week tour of Asia because of illness, but it will also give him time to consider his options.
Roma, Juventus, Lyon and Marseille have all made -enquiries for the Ivory Coast forward who has enjoyed mixed fortunes at Arsenal in the two years since his £11million move from Lille.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger remains a big admirer, but has doubts whether Gervinho can overcome a lack of confidence following two difficult years.




Gervinho is expected to have further talks on his future, but it is likely he may now move on and Arsenal could be tempted by a bid of around £8m.
Arsenal misfit Nicklas -Bendtner is also negotiating his way out of the club with Hull in the hunt.
The Danish international has seen potential moves to Eintracht Frankfurt and Malaga break down because of his wage demands.
He is currently on £52,000-a-week with one year left on his Arsenal contract.
**Kevin MacDonald has left League One Swindon by mutual consent after just five months.

Juventus interested in Arsenal forward


Juventus have been speculated to be interested in acquiring the services of Arsenal foward Gervinho. Gervinho's career at the Emirates has been a mixed bag as he couldnot attain a star-struck success, and making him a complete failure isn’t a conclusion.He has found himself on the receiving end of the jeering banter at the North London club.

The Ivorian International forward has the option to look for pastures elsewhere as suitors Roma, Lyon, Marseille and Juventus have come in for the player. Gervinho still holds a healthy reputation in France, where he spent 2 excellent years with Lille. He would be following Arsenal's misfit Nicklas Bendtner who also admitted that his departure is imminent.

While the talented Arsenal forward contemplates his next destination, all that is left is to contemplate at how his career had gone astray and what could have been.

Roma make £6.9 million bid for Gervinho.

The Serie A club have made a formal offer for the Arsenal winger, who did not travel with the first-team squad that began their pre-season tour of Asia last Thursday
Roma have submitted a £6.9million bid for Gervinho, Goal understands.
The Serie A club have followed up their interest, reported by Goal last week, with a formal offer for the Arsenal winger.
The Gunners are willing to let Gervinho go this summer as they clear the decks for a number of marquee signings, with Luiz Suarez, Gonzalo Higuain, Marouane Fellaini and Wayne Rooney among those on their hit list.
Marseille have also declared their interest in taking the Ivory Coast international on a season-long loan but Arsenal would prefer a sale.
Gervinho did not fly out with the Arsenal squad last Thursday for their pre-season tour of Asia, which the club claim was due to sickness, although this conveniently allowed the player to stay behind to hold talks with his principal suitors.
Arsenal value the attacking midfielder, whose £50,000-a-week salary would stretch Roma's finances, at the £8m mark and have yet to respond to the Giallorossi's bid.
New Roma manager Rudi Garcia coached Gervinho for two seasons at Lille before he joined Arsenal in 2011 and remains an admirer of the 26-year-old.
Marseille offer the prospect of a return to the French league for Gervinho, if Roma cannot agree a fee with Arsenal.

Lyon Approach Arsenal With Gourcuff for Gervinho Exchange Offer - Report



Lyon are still hopeful of convincing Arsenal to take a chance on Yoann Gourcuff as they look to secure the services of Gunners forward Gervinho in a player exchange deal, reports suggest.

The France international was once regarded as one of the brightest talents in European football but injuries and struggles for form have punctured his three year career at Lyon, which looks to be coming to an end after club president Jean-Michel Aulas recently conceded that the club will cut their losses on the man they paid ?22m for in 2010.
Arsene Wenger is a self confessed admirer of Gourcuff and has admitted in the past that he tried to sign the attacking midfielder before a long term injury disrupted such plans. A number of reports have suggested Wenger still holds interest in the 27-year-old, and may be tempted into a move this summer with Lyon now ready to listen to offers.
A number of reports in the French media, including from beIN Sport and France Football, suggest the Ligue 1 club will propose a swap deal with Arsenal that would see the out of favour Ivorian Gervinho move to the Stade de Gerland with Gourcuff heading to north London in the other direction on season long loan deals, with an option of a permanent deal next summer.
Gervinho, who was left out of the Arsenal squad for their tour of Asia, has been heavily linked with a move to Roma where he would be reunited with former Lille coach Rudi Garcia.

But Lyon are prepared to offer the 26-year-old a route back to French football, where he would certainly be gifted more first team opportunities than at the Emirates.
Meanwhile, the already marginalised Gourcuff is likely to play an increasingly peripheral role at the French club next season after Clement Grenier's decision to extend his contract at Lyon. In a bid to ease the financial load on their wage budget, the club are banking on Arsene Wenger's long term admiration of the Frenchman to help them resolve the issue.
Although swap deals are somewhat of a rarity in the transfer market, such a deal would draw comparisons to the one that saw Julio Baptista join the Gunners from Real Madrid in 2006 on a season long loan deal, with Antonio Reyes moving to the Bernabeu in the opposite direction.
