New Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Zinedine Zidane will be his assistant next season. Paul Clement, who was the Italian’s right-hand man at Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, will also be his assistant at ‘Los Blancos’.
Asked about Zidane, Ancelotti remarked: “He’ll be on the bench, the only problem is he can’t play.”
Ancelotti also confirmed that Giovanni Mauri will join his backroom team as fitness coach.
