Lionel Messi has won the 2012 Fifa Ballon d'Or ahead of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona team-mate Andres Iniesta.









Vicente del Bosque named 2012 Fifa Coach of the Year



The veteran tactician was rewarded for winning Euro 2012,finishing ahead of Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho and former Barcelonaman Pep Guardiola


Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has won the 2012 Fifa Coach of the Year award after leading his country to their third consecutive major trophy at Euro 2012.








La Liga dominates as Messi & Ronaldo make 2012 FIFPro World XI



The Barcelona and Real Madrid stars have both made the cut forlast year's world XI, alongside a host of team-mates and AtleticoMadrid's Radamel Falcao


The 2012 FIFPro World XI has been announced during Monday's Fifa Ballon d'Or gala in Zurich, with Barcelonaand Real Madrid stars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo among the standout names.

TheFIFPro World XI is a prize from the players for the players, withFIFPro inviting all professional footballers in the world to composetheir best team of the year.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillasgets the nod between the sticks, while his club team-mates Sergio Ramosand Marcelo have made it into the defence alongside Barca duo DaniAlves and Gerard Pique.

The three-man midfield consists of Madrid star Xabi Alonso, as well as Spain team-mates Xavi and Andres Iniesta.

Unsurprisingly, both los Blancos forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Blaugrana ace Lionel Messi have made the cut up front, with Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao completing the side.
