Liverpool insist they have not received a transfer request from Philippe Coutinho.

Reports suggested that the Brazil international had taken steps to try to force a move to Barcelona after owners Fenway Sports Group declared he would be staying put during the current window.


However, the Reds are adamant that as it stands no transfer request has been submitted.
