Sky sources have revealed that Queens Park Rangers are looking to send Adel Taarabt out on loan this season.

The recently relegated club have no plans to sell their talented Moroccan midfielder but are happy for him to spend time away from Loftus Road.

The 24-year-old who joined Rangers on loan from Tottenham in July 2009 - before signing permanently 12 months later - could remain in England.

As a teenager he spent time with French club Lens and this latest news may spark interest from his former boss Mark Hughes who became the new Stoke manager at the end of last season.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt admits he would jump at the chance to secure a move to Marseille.

Sky Sports revealed on Saturday that QPR may be willing to let the Morocco international leave on loan this summer.

They are understood to be reluctant on sanctioning a permanent deal, but could be persuaded to let Taarabt spend the 2013/14 campaign away from Loftus Road.

No formal approach for his services has been made as yet, but interest is expected to mount over the coming weeks.

A move to France has been mooted, with Marseille reported to be contemplating a move.

Taarabt hopes the Ligue 1 outfit will enter negotiations, with the 24-year-old claiming to have supported the club in his younger days.

He told Le Parisien: "The club of my heart? OM. I have not had a direct contact, but my friend Joey Barton has told everyone at the club about me.

"If OM want me, I'm going. My sisters still live in Marseille. This is the first club I supported."
