Henning Berg to be unveiled as Blackburn boss on Thursday
Henning Berg has agreed to become manager of Blackburn Rovers and will be unveiled by the club on Thursday morning.
Berg has been working as a pundit for Norwegian TV 2 Sporten sincebeing dismissed as boss of Lillestrom in October of last year.
The former
Manchester United and Blackburn defender was offered the post by the Ewood Park club's owners following a successful interview on Monday.
The 43-year-old's appointment will conclude Blackburn's protractedsearch for a successor to Steve Kean whose resignation ended a troubledand unpopular reign at the end of last month.

Derek Shaw announced that a press conference will be held at 8.30am on Thursday when Berg will be presented to the media.
Shaw revealed that Berg - a member of the Manchester United squadthat won the treble in 1999 - became the board's number one choice onthe back of an impressive interview.
Shaw said: "He interviewed well and he moved straight to the top of our list."
Blackburn are currently fifth in the Championship table having been led by caretaker boss Eric Black for the past six matches.
