Four-year Roma deal for Pjanic
Roma have announced the signing of Miralem Pjanic from Lyon for a fee believed to be in the region of ?10million (£8.8m).Ligue 1 outfit Lyon confirmed earlier on transfer deadline day an agreement had been reached with their Serie A counterparts and the deal has now been completed.
Bosnia international Pjanic has signed a four-year contract which is understood to be worth ?1.8m (£1.6m).
Roma confirmed the signing on their official website and the 21-year-old follows the likes of Simon Kjaer and Pablo Osvaldo to the Italian capital, while Fernando Gago is also expected.
Lazio as well as Premier League outfit Tottenham were all linked with a swoop for the playmaker.
Skysports.com also understands former Chelsea and Swansea man Fabio Borini could be set for a shock move to Roma.
