Albert Riera has swapped Olympiakos for Galatasaray, with the Turkish club paying ?3 million for the Spanish winger.
The 29-year-old joined the Greek champions from Liverpool back in July 2010, and helped Ernesto Valverde's team to the title last term.
However, the transfer has been confirmed by the buying side on their official website.
"An Olympiakos FC player last season, Albert Riera will start with the 2011-2012 season with Galatasaray, with four football seasons agreed to. Accordingly, the player's club Olympiakos FC will be paid a ?3,000,000 transfer fee," the statement reads.The signing of Riera completes a busy summer in the transfer market for Fatih Terem's team, who follows the likes of Johan Elmander, Fernando Muslera and Emmanuel Eboue in moving to the Turk Telecom Arena.
