Mamadou Niang is the latest player to flee Turkish club Fenerbahce, who confirmed he has joined Qatari club Al Sadd.
The move comes just days after the 31-year-old Senegal striker handed in a transfer request following the match-fixing scandal that has engulfed the club over the summer.
A statement released by Fenerbahce on Tuesday reads: "A transfer agreement for the sale of Mamadou Niang to Al Sadd for the sum of ?7.5 million has been reached."
Niang joined the Turkish side last year and scored 15 goals in 29 games in the Super Lig as he led them to the 2010-11 title.
