Holloway fails with bid for striker

Skysports.com can confirm Marlon Harewood's proposed move to Blackpool has broken down.
Harewood, who is available on a free transfer after leaving Aston Villa earlier this summer, has been in talks with Premier League new boys Blackpool over a possible switch to Bloomfield Road.
The 30-year-old impressed Pool boss Ian Holloway during a week's training stint and he was keen to do a deal with Harewood.
However, both parties have been unable reach an agreement with personal terms believed to be the sticking point.
Broken down
Harewood's agent, Phil Sproson, has confirmed the deal has stalled and that his client could look elsewhere as he aims to find himself a new club.
"Unfortunately at this moment in time it's broken down," Sproson told skysports.com.
"We will now wait and see what happens and consider other offers."
The news is a blow for Holloway as he desperately tries to bolster his squad ahead of the start of the season this weekend.
