Marco Verratti's desire is for a change of scenery and he will listen to offers to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with Barcelona's offer ranked above the rest.
That's the message his agent Donato Di Campli has given to the French club's sporting director Antero Henrique in a meeting in Milan on Monday, according to Gianlucadimarzio.com.
PSG's plans do not involve selling the central midfielder and instead they plan to offer him a new, improved contract.
However, Verratti's firm wish is to leave this summer and it's not to do with money.
He wants to take on a new challenge in his career and is not thinking about renewing his deal with the Ligue 1 runners-up.
Therefore, the meeting did not go as the club had anticipated, although they still hope to convince the player to stay.

According to Italian website Gianlucadimarzio.com, PSG want to speak to Verratti in the coming days to learn his state of mind.
Meanwhile, the latest news on Barça's interest is that the Catalan club are prepared to pay 100 million euros for the Italian international. In addition, he will be paid 10 million euros per year plus bonuses.

據西班牙傳媒《Cadena COPE》報道，巴黎聖日耳門中場馬高華拉堤（Marco Verratti）和巴塞球星美斯都同時在西班牙東部度假，兩人並且在阿根廷國腳柏斯托尼的安排下會面。

華拉堤和他的經理人以及美斯3人在晚餐後轉往島上的一間夜店繼續消遣，據報柏斯托尼也在夜店出現。事後華拉尼的經理人在社交網站上載了和華拉堤在夜店暢飲時的照片，並寫上「只有一件事……」，令人聯想眾人當晚是否在洽談華拉堤轉會巴塞的事情。

雖然華拉堤轉會一事仍未有定案，不過意大利名宿馬甸尼日前就率先表態支持這位意大利中場轉投巴塞：「華拉堤是一位非常出色的球員，如果他能夠離開聖日耳門的話，他的事業將會更上一層，我認為巴塞隆拿是他理想的下一站。」

Verratti and his agent Donato Di Campli (during their time in Ibiza), had discussions with Barcelona.
According to sources close to Calciomercato.com, an agreement was found between both parties.
Other than the Barcelona management (who love Verratti), Lionel Messi also supported his club's decision to target the small Italian maestro.
So to recap, Verratti has said yes to FC Barcelona but the problem is called PSG....

THEY DON'T WANT TO SELL HIM - PSG consider Verratti untouchable since they know that he will be very hard to replace.
The French club made him a contract renewal offer: 10 million euros per season (similar to Cavani's salary).
This is a lot of money but even so, Verratti wants to play for FC Barcelona.
The Catalan club do not want to be too pushy as they want to keep their good relationship with PSG. This is why it is up to Verratti now....

BAYERN'S INTEREST - Bayern Munich also like Verratti a lot as Carlo Ancelotti gave him a call not too long ago to convince him of joining Bayern.
Verratti thanked the ex-Milan coach for the call but his mind is now only focused on Barcelona.
He first wanted to see Juve's potential interest but as Marotta confirmed, the Bianconeri are not currently interested in him (and his huge price-tag/wages).
It is now pretty clear, or he will be joining Barcelona or he will likely stay with PSG. An agreement between Verratti and Messi's club is now in place....
