- Swedish striker is wanted by former club AC Milan
- But Manchester United and Arsenal also both looking for top striker
- The 33-year-old scored 19 league goals last season for PSG
Premier League clubs have been put on alert by news from France that Zlatan Ibrahimovic can leave PSG in this transfer window.Ibrahimovic, 34 in October, is thought to be available at a cut price fee and that will surely lead to interest from top clubs.Manchester United and Arsenal both need a striker and while Old Trafford powerbrokers appear reluctant to draw the enigmatic Swede to Old Trafford, they do need firepower.
Zlatan's former club AC Milan are keen for a box office signing and are also monitoring these developments.Poster boy Ibrahimovic missed the 2-0 win over Ajaccio on Sunday night with an ankle injury. Paris sources say that is unconnected to the decision to sell him, although his absence raised eyebrows from scouts at the game.
A Paris source said the fee would 'not be expensive, although everyone knows his wages are huge and there will be no re-sale value.'
Ibrahimovic led PSG to the French title last season and the signing of Angel di Maria was expected to satisfy him.
However, his agents have until August 31 to find him a new club and his ego could put off some interested parties.
He has a remarkable CV, having won titles in Sweden, Holland, Italy, Spain and France, but was often considered to have difficulties against English clubs.
Last season the fiery Swede was sent off against Chelsea in the Champions League, and he has rarely produced his best form against England's elite.
