Spurs boss determined to invest in new shot-stopper

Harry Redknapp is eager to add some security to his Tottenham squad with the addition of a new goalkeeper.
The manager is keen to bolster his resources as Spurs prepare for their maiden UEFA Champions League campaign this season after securing a club record fourth-placed Premier League finish last term.
Redknapp already has Brazil keeper and current No.1 Heurelho Gomes at his disposal, while Italian Carlo Cudicini has recently returned from a long spell on the sidelines following a motorcycle accident.
But with youngster David Button heading out on loan, Redknapp is looking to invest in another option between the sticks, with Croatian shot-stopper Stipe Pletikosa his favoured target.

"That's a possibility, we're looking to take a loan there," Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
"I've got Gomes and I've got Carlo, which is good, but the young lad David Button is going out on loan so I feel we need three keepers.
"Carlo is coming back from a bad accident so we don't want to leave ourselves short. We'll be looking to bring another keeper in to give us three goalkeepers."
Redknapp was speaking following Tottenham's 2-1 friendly win over New York Red Bulls, during which former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry scored on his debut outing for the American side.
Robbie Keane and Gareth Bale netted for Spurs, and Redknapp was full of praise for the duo's performance.
"He (Keane) needed it, he had a couple of opportunities tonight," he added.
"He pulled off into some great positions as he always does, he just didn't manage to finish one.
"But in the end he got there and then Gareth Bale did well for the other goal, so it was all good."
Chances
Keane was pleased to break through after several missed opportunities, and is excited for the remaining friendly matches.
"It was a good work-out for us and we look forward to the next coming games," said Keane.
"Obviously I was playing up front on my own and it's important to play on the shoulder and play in between people.
"I nearly got in a few times and in the end got a goal, and most importantly we got a win and I thought we lasted well today."
