West Ham are closing in on the signing of Argentine striker Milton Caraglio, skysports.com understands.
The Hammers have turned their attentions to the Rosario Central hit-man as they look to bolster their attacking options.
Caraglio has been called up to the Argentina national team in the past, but saw injury prevent him from making his international debut.
West Ham have been frustrated in their attempts to bring in a new striker this summer, with a number of Premier League sides hoping to beat them to the signing of Nice ace Loic Remy.
Caraglio has now come onto West Ham's radar and the London outfit are believed to have agreed a fee in the region of £5million for the 22-year-old.
Caraglio is also thought to have agreed personal terms on his switch to Upton Park and is awaiting the necessary paperwork before making the move to England.
