Jose Mourinho Reveals He Took The Real Madrid Job Because He Thrives On Pressure

The Special One feels he has enough trophies won....

Jose Mourinho has revealed that his decision to take the reigns at Real Madrid was not based on a desire to win trophies and stated that he is already satisfied with his haul of silverware as a coach.

Having already claimed two UEFA Champions League crowns and six domestic league titles amongst a total of 16 trophies in the last eight years, the Portuguese trainer stated that taking charge at the Santiago Bernabeu was a matter of quelling his personal thirst for pressure, which he believes the Madrid hotseat will provide.

"I know that if I left [fotball] now or if I don't return to winning more trophies, I still have an historic background that is hard to match. I've always liked the pressure, and Real Madrid is a challenge to fit my needs," Mourinho is quoted as saying by AS.
