West Brom have agreed a deal with Hull to sign Jake Livermore, according to Sky sources

Sky Sports News HQ understands that the 27-year-old midfielder left Hull's training on Thursday morning to head to the Baggies for talks over personal terms.

West Brom had an initial bid of £8m rejected this week by Hull, who have also been fending off bids for key player Robert Snodgrass - the last a £6m offer from West Ham.

West Brom have been keen to strengthen in the January window, and have opened talks with Watford to sign their striker Odion Ighalo.

But Hull have also been active in the market, capturing striker Oumar Niasse on loan from Everton and 30-year-old attacking midfielder Evandro from Porto.

The Humberside club also expect to complete a deal for Olympiakos right-back Omar Elabdellaoui before the transfer deadline.

West Brom have so far let Callum McManaman, Craig Gardner, Tyler Roberts and Andre Wright all leave on loan until the end of the season.

LIVERMORE SET FOR HULL MEDICAL

Jake Livermore is on his way to the West Midlands to undergo a medical before his proposed move to West Brom, Sky sources report.

We understand personal terms have yet to be agreed, but Albion are hopeful the deal will be completed before lunchtime tomorrow, so Livermore would be available for the game at home to Sunderland.

As reported earlier on SSNHQ, Hull accepted a bid of around £10m for the midfielder this morning.
