Manchester United are set to loan Adnan Januzaj to Sunderland, as they want to avoid having to buy back former players for inflated fees in the future - just as they did with Paul Pogba.
The Black Cats had enquired about a permanent deal for the 21-year-old but United would prefer to keep him on their books for another season at least.
Pogba returned to Old Trafford for a world-record fee approaching £100million this week after leaving for Juventus four years ago.
And, while United have been disappointed with Januzaj's development in recent seasons, there is still a feeling that the talented winger is too good to discard at this stage.

Sportsmail understands talks are currently ongoing about a season-long switch to the Stadium of Light, and Januzaj should join United team-mates Paddy McNair and Donald Love in becoming a Sunderland player before the end of the week.
Defenders Love and McNair will cost Sunderland around £6m in total and manager David Moyes hopes to have them in the squad for Saturday’s Premier League opener at Manchester City.
Sportsmail revealed last month that Januzaj’s name was at the top of Moyes’ wish-list upon taking charge on Wearside and the Belgian has indicated that he wants to be reunited with the man who handed him his United debut.
That, ironically, was at Sunderland in 2013 and Januzaj responded with a match-winning double in a 2-1 victory.

據了解，贊奴沙（Adnan Januzaj）上月與新帥摩連奴面對面傾談後，被告知自己不會在曼聯的26人一隊名單，之後他就一直與預備組一起練習。據悉，這位比利時翼鋒拒絕共用U21的更衣室，因為他早已在一隊，卻突然要在今個月「降呢」轉去U21的更衣室，令他甚感不滿。

贊奴沙在今夏放假時請來體能教練操弗自己，希望在新球季有良好狀態，對於沒有機會向摩連奴展示自己的實力，當然感到不快。消息人士透露，他對於自己被剔出曼聯的一隊計劃，感到十分委屈，所以他已有計劃，希望到西班牙或意大利發展，但曼聯方面相信，他留在曼聯仍會有將來，希望將他外借至新特蘭一季，可以助他重拾狀態。

贊奴沙去到光明球場之後，將會與前曼聯領隊莫耶斯重劍重逢，贊奴沙在莫耶斯時代備受重用。
