astian Schweinsteiger has injured a knee while training with Germany in what is the latest blow for the Manchester United midfielder, who has struggled with his fitness throughout the season.

A statement from the DFB, the German governing body, said: “World Cup winner Schweinsteiger sustained the injury to his right knee on Tuesday afternoon toward the end of the training session.

For further examinations the captain will undergo a MRI scan in Munich with national team doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt.”

Schweinsteiger had only returned on 10 March from a knee injury that had ruled him out since 9 January.

He previously suffered a groin problem in October and was unable to start United’s opening three games of the campaign through a lack of match fitness. He also suffered a knock during the club’s pre-season tour.

Arsenal’s Mesut Özil also missed training with an ankle problem as Germany continued to prepare for Saturday’s friendly against England in Berlin. Özil sustained a knock in the Gunners’ 2-0 victory at Everton on Saturday.

舒韋恩史迪加（Bastian Schweinsteiger）在英足盃第3輪對錫菲聯時膝部受傷，養傷近2個月尚未完全康復，但仍獲國家隊教練路維徵召，備戰在都柏林舉行對英格蘭及意大利的2場友誼賽。

可惜好景不常，據《DW Sports》報導，小豬在日前的操練中再度膝部受傷，急須返回慕尼黑接受檢查，而教練路維周三出席記者會時說：「事情發生在訓練的最後階段，沒有與並他球員接觸下，小豬交波後就惡化了自己之前的傷勢。」經磁力共振檢查後，證實小豬部分韌帶撕裂，肯定缺陣德國兩場友誼賽，英國《每日郵報》更指出小豬會提早完結曼聯的球季，而能否趕及6月代表德國在歐國盃決賽周上陣，仍成一大疑問，一切需等待傷勢康復情況。

另外，德國另一名中場成員奧斯爾因上周六對愛華頓一戰足踝扭傷，沒有參與周三的操練，而據德國傳媒報道，「大眼仔」的情況不太嚴重，缺席只是為了預防。

雲高爾同時透露，安達靴里拉有傷在身，周六將不會落場對阿士東維拉。勞基梳爾仍然在接受隊醫的訓練，康復進度良好。足總盃對韋斯咸一役復出的朗尼，將會在周末參與更多。

對於拉舒福特今季「跑出」，雲高爾坦言高興，但就不同意別人拿他與基斯坦奴朗拿度作比較：「你可以拿蘋果跟梨子比較，但我就不同意你的見解，我們拭目以待，馬卡斯（拉舒福特）至今表現出色，但你就不能拿他跟經常踢不同位置的C朗拿度相比，我相信後者在曼聯時並不是一名前鋒。」

Bastian Schweinsteiger is unlikely to play for Manchester United again this season, according to Louis van Gaal.

The German midfielder has not pulled on a United shirt since the Manchester derby on March 20, and a few days later suffered medial knee ligament damage while training with Germany.

The Dutchman said: "I don't think Schweinsteiger shall play this season. Maybe he is ready for the European Championship, I cannot predict but it is possible."

The 31-year-old has scored just one goal all season for United and is now set to miss the run-in.

One player unlikely to face Aston Villa on Saturday is Ander Herrera who was hurt during the club's 2-1 victory over West Ham on Wednesday.

He added: "I don't know yet for sure. Herrera was injured but the problem is that we have to recover again within two days.
