Swansea are targeting Arsenal full back Carl Jenkinson.

Jenkinson, 25, is one of a clutch of Arsenal players available for transfer as Arsene Wenger plans a summer clear out.

Swansea have been keen in the past and Arsenal want to sell but may also be prepared to do a loan deal.

Jenkinson nearly joined Crystal Palace in January for around £5million but that move fell through and now Arsenal are anxious to clear the decks.

Arsenal want to offload Jenkinson, Mathieu Debuchy and Kieran Gibbs.

They will also listen to offers on Calum Chambers and Jack Wilshere.

Harry Redknapp is set to a double deal for Arsenal pair Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall on season-long loans.

Birmingham boss Redknapp has been desperate to strengthen his squad to try and make a push for the play-offs and the two full backs is a major coup for him.

Jenkinson, 25, who has three years left on his deal at Arsenal, will join until the end of the season and will be a major coup for the Blues.

Crystal Palace tried to get Jenkinson last season and there has been Premier League interest but he is read to go to Birmingham to get playing again.

Harry Redknapp is set to a double deal for Arsenal pair Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall on season-long loans.

Birmingham boss Redknapp has been desperate to strengthen his squad to try and make a push for the play-offs and the two full backs is a major coup for him.

Bramall, 21, joined Arsenal from non-league Hednesford Town but they believe he now needs experience to try and develop as a player.

He has great pace but is still developing and Arsenal do not yet see him as a first teamer.

The double deal continues Arsenal’s clear out of squad players after Gabriel joined Valencia for £10m.

Deportivo La Coruña are also closing in on Lucas Perez on a loan deal with an option to buy next year.

Arsenal duo Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall join Birmingham

Arsenal have allowed Carl Jenkinson and Cohen Bramall to join Birmingham City on season-long loan deals.

Jenkinson did not feature for Arsenal in the Premier League last season, but played five times in the cup competitions.

The 25-year-old spent two seasons on loan at West Ham, although his second season at the club came to a premature end after he suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Bramall joined Arsenal from non-league Hednesford last January and featured in the club's pre-season tour of Australia.

The 21-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Gunners and has been allowed to join the Sky Bet Championship club, along with Jenkinson, in order to gain experience.
