Chelsea are the latest Premier League club to show an interest in signing Dani Alves, according to Sky in Italy.

The champions have joined Manchester City in considering a move for the Juventus right-back, who won a league and cup double last season in his first year in Italy.

Chelsea have already tried to sign Juve's left-back Alex Sandro this summer, according to the Serie A winners' general director Giuseppe Marotta.

And news of their interest in Brazilian Alves emerged hours after they joined the race to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who played in both wing-back roles for Arsenal towards the end of last season.

Conte converted Victor Moses into a right wing-back early on last season, while Marcos Alonso was a regular on the left.

Moses was sent off at Wembley as Chelsea were beaten by Arsenal in the FA Cup final, earning a second yellow card for diving under close attention from Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Chelsea are yet to make a signing this summer and there have been widespread reports that Conte is frustrated by the lack of action.

But Sky in Italy say the Italian is close to signing a new contract after positive talks with the club.

Dani Alves will terminate Juventus contract to join Manchester City, confirms director Beppe Marotta

• Dani Alves will join Manchester City on a two-year deal upon leaving Juventus
• Director Beppe Marotta confirmed the Brazilian's decision to depart club

Manchester City are expected to open official talks with defender Dani Alves after Juventus confirmed he will be released from his contract.
The 34-year-old Brazilian right back is looking to sign a two year deal with City once the Italians clear the cancellation of his deal with the Italian champions.
Speaking to Calciomercato.com and Mediaset Premium, Juventus chief executive Beppe Marotta said: 'It's not a breakdown of our rapport, as motivation is fundamental for a player.

'Dani Alves told us he wants to try an alternative experience, so we will terminate the contract by mutual consent and wish him all the best.
'Of course there is disappointment at what he said, but we confirm there was no split.'

雖然丹尼爾（Dani Alves）在上季才加盟祖雲達斯，更助球隊贏得意甲、意盃，以及殺入歐聯決賽，而且還餘下1年合約，但其轉會消息近日滿天飛，有指曼城和車路士兩支英超勁旅都對這名35歲巴西國腳有興趣。

祖記CEO馬路達（Giuseppe Marotta）就大爆丹尼爾離開意甲在即：「他決定了，希望轉換環境，所以我們達成了共識，球會祝他前程錦繡。」據知，丹尼爾很大機會選擇曼城，和領隊哥迪奧拿繼巴塞隆拿後，再度合作。

Dani Alves: Manchester City target to be released from Juventus contract

Juventus have confirmed they will release right-back Dani Alves from the final year of his contract.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is known to be interested in the 34-year-old, whom he knows from their time together at Barcelona.

Speaking to Italian media on Wednesday, Juventus chief executive Beppe Marotta said that Alves had "expressed a desire to try a new experience".

Marotta said Juventus hoped to reach a "mutual termination" with Alves.

He wished the Brazilian good luck for the future.

Alves has only been with Juve for a year, winning Serie A and reaching the Champions League final.

Prior to that, he had spent eight seasons at Barcelona. The first four of those were under Guardiola, a period when the pair shared in two Champions League triumphs and won La Liga on three occasions.

City do not have an experienced right-back after releasing out-of-contract duo Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna.

Guardiola has been linked with Tottenham's Kyle Walker as well as Alves, who he bought for Barcelona from Sevilla for £23m in 2008.
