Thierry Henry feels Villarreal have no option but to 'come out and attack' tomorrow night - and believes that could just play right into Arsenal's hands.

The Gunners will take a 1-0 advantage into the second leg of their semi-final in Spain, after Manuel Pellegrini's men seemed content to soak up plenty of pressure at Highbury last week without offering much of an attacking threat themselves.

That approach, however, has seen the Yellow Submarine progress to the last four of the Champions League for the first time - and on their debut in the competition.

The Spaniards played out three goalless draws in the opening group stages having beaten Everton in the qualifiers.

Since then, they have only scored more than a single goal on one occasion - when drawing 2-2 with Scottish side Rangers at Ibrox in the second round - and went through against Inter Milan from the quarter-finals on the away-goals rule.

However, now Villarreal have no choice but to produce the goods if they are to progress to next month's final. And the Arsenal skipper feels that could prove their undoing.

Henry said: 'What I think might suit us is that they will have to come out and attack more than they did at Highbury.

'They did not want to do that in the first leg, and everyone knows what we can do when a team has a go at us.

'I would like to see them come out because that will give us space.'

Arsenal will be without defender Philippe Senderos for the game after the centre-back suffered a knee injury in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham on Saturday, but veteran England defender Sol Campbell returns to the squad after recovering from an operation on a broken nose and will play.

Left-back Gael Clichy is also included in the travelling party, available again after suffering a stress fracture of his foot while on Under-21 duty for France against England in November.

Captain Thierry Henry started on the bench at the weekend, along with Cesc Fabregas, but both are in contention to start, while midfielders Freddie Ljungberg and Alexander Hleb should also come back into the equation after being rested.

Jose Antonio Reyes is available again following a one-match European ban, but Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor is cup-tied.

England full-back Ashley Cole (ankle) is still not yet fully match fit.

Villarreal coach Manuel Pellegrini has entered the argument which marred Saturday's north London derby by claiming Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger does not practice what he preaches.

Wenger was livid that Tottenham's Edgar Davids did not put the ball out of play following a clash between Arsenal duo Gilberto Silva and Emmanuel Eboue which led to both players lying prone on the turf.

Davids played on and crossed for Robbie Keane to put Tottenham ahead.

Although the Gunners later equalised through Thierry Henry, Wenger was adamant afterwards his team would have acted differently and even accused Tottenham boss Martin Jol of lying when the Dutchman claimed he did not see the Arsenal duo were injured.

Pellegrini, speaking ahead of the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Wenger's men, said: 'I believe in fair play and if a player is injured, the ball should be thrown out.

'I think Wenger got the other side of the coin this weekend.

'Against us at Highbury, Wenger didn't want his players to throw the ball out when our players were injured.

'It's true that some teams use this system in order to stop the other team from playing but that's not true in our case.'

Arsenal go into the clash at El Madrigal 1-0 ahead, but Pellegrini is confident his men can overturn that deficit and set up a final encounter with AC Milan or Barcelona.

He added: 'We know we have to do more than Arsenal did at Highbury and we are very optimistic that we can reach the Champions League final.

'We have a very good team. We will try to impose our football and show the same determination that we have shown throughout this competition.

'This is the last step and obviously the most difficult one.

'It's been a great journey so far and we want to go all the way.'

The hosts are hopeful of having former AC Milan striker Jose Mari and defender Ivan Pena back after injury.

Both missed the weekend encounter with Sociedad but trained on Monday morning.

Pellegrini's only other selection dilemma surrounds the goalkeeping position with Sebastian Viera available again after missing the first leg through suspension.

Viera's deputy Mariano Barbosa made a good impression in London and it remains to be seen who gets the nod.

Josico will replace the suspended Alessio Tacchinardi in the centre of Villarreal's midfield.
