Butland Joins Barnsley 
Goalkeeper links up with Tykes on emergency loan STOKE CITY goalkeeper
Jack Butland has joined Championship side Barnsley in an emergency loan deal. The
England international, who is currently the Potters' third-choice 'keeper,
will spend 93 days at Oakwell and gain valuable first team experience.
Chief Executive Tony Scholes said: "Jack is an outstanding young talent but when we signed him it was on the understanding that he needed to continue
his development by playing first team football on a regular basis.
"
We're pleased that such a good opportunity for Jack to go out on loan has presented itself and we’re sure it will be beneficial to both Jack and the Club. "We will be monitoring his progress closely at Barnsley and wish him every success during his time at Oakwell."
Butland is still waiting to make his first appearance for Stoke after joining the Club from Birmingham on the final day of the January transfer window. The 20 year old was immediately loaned back to Birmingham and was an ever-present in league matches for the 2012–13 season
and was
