Sunderland close in on Mavrias and De Ceglie as transfers 11 and 12 of the summer

Panathinaikos winger is already in town for a medical, while Black Cats have representatives in Turin to tie up Juventus full-back

Paolo Di Canio is set to continue his Sunderland signing spree by making Juventus star Paolo De Ceglie his TWELFTH capture of the summer.
Teenage Greek winger Charis Mavrias was on Wearside on Wednesday to agree personal terms and undergo a medical to seal
an on-off ￡2.5m move from Panathinaikos, which would make him arrival number 11.
And busy boss Di Canio has wasted no time in his bid to add yet another player to the tally.
The Black Cats have sent representatives to Turin to discuss a ￡2.3m move for attacking full-back De Ceglie,
who has been told he can leave the Italian champions.
Di Canio turned his attention to the 26-year-old after missing out to Liverpool for Valencia's Aly Cissokho.

The Italian wants to reunite Italy Under-21 international De Ceglie with his former Juve team-mate Emanuele Giaccherini,
who moved to Wearside earlier this summer in a ￡6.6m deal.Sunderland have already brought in (deep breath!) Duncan Watmore,
David Moberg-Karlsson, Modibo Diakite, Adilson Cabral, Valentin Roberge, Vito Mannnone, Joze Altidore, El Hadji Ba, Giaccherini
and Ondrej Celustka since last season's brush with relegation.
