Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer has signed a four-year contract extension that commits him to the Barclays Premier League club until 2017.The 25-year-old has become an important part of the Swans first team since his arrival from Southampton in 2009, featuring in all but five of their matches since the club’s promotion to the top flight in 2011.He scored a total of six goals last season and was named man of the match after scoring two goals in Swansea City’s Capital One Cup final victory over Bradford City.And Dyer, who had a year left remaining on his original contract, says he is looking forward to the start of the new League campaign which begins with a home match against champions Manchester United on 17 August."I've been here four years now, and I wanted to stay at Swansea," he told the club's website. "I didn't even think about going anywhere else, so it is nice to get it all sorted."We’ve made a lot of progression here as a club, and I feel I have progressed too.
