Liverpool target Christian Eriksen declares interest in move to Tottenham

LIVERPOOL target Christian Eriksen is interested in a move to Premier League rivals Tottenham.

Tottenham is an interesting prospect for the Danish international

The future of the Ajax midfielder, who is attracting interest from a number of European clubs, remains uncertain after impressing in the Eredivisie last season.
And Eriksen spoke today about the possibility of joining former Ajax team-mate Jan Vertonghen at White Hart Lane.
"Tottenham are a great club," he told BT.dk.

Eriksen has been one of Ajax's best performers in recent years

The 21-year-old in action for Ajax in last season's Champions League"I know this because of Vertonghen. It is good club which is interesting.
"But there has not been anything yet."
The Danish international currently has one year left on his contract with the Dutch champions and coach Frank de Boer is resigned to losing one of his most valuable players.
And Eriksen believes his future will be sorted out in the next two weeks, with interest set to intensify.

Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen celebrate their title win in Holland"We'll find out in two weeks," he said.
"There are to my knowledge no negotiations right now either with a new club or Ajax."
He added: "There are Russian clubs that have called and made bids for me.
"I did not take much time to refuse. I would like to join one of the five major leagues.
"I have the view that I do not want to go to Russia at my age. I do not look at the money."
