Chelsea are competing with Liverpool for Sporting Lisbon defender Tiago Ilori.
The Sunday Mirror says Jose Mourinho is weighing up a move forLiverpool target Tiago Ilori.
The Reds have been negotiating with the central defender's club, Sporting Lisbon, for several weeks.
Liverpool have had two bids rejected for Ilori who is valued by Sporting at around £8.5million.p>
They could now see their efforts hijacked by Chelsea although the player is understood to want regular first-team football which could work in Liverpool's favour.
