Arsenal target has message for Gunners Transfer news: QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar has put Arsenal on alert by saying he wants to stay in London next season.
Cesar helped Brazil to glory in the Confederations Cup last night and is now expected to seal a move away from relegated QPR.
Theformer Inter Milan star has been linked with a return to Italy, butArsenal manager Arsene Wenger is also said to be keen and Cesar admitshe would like to stay in the capital.
“Now I have to do thingsright at my club so I can be considered for the World Cup,” he toldreporters after Brazil’s 3-0 win against Spain.
“Did my son say he wants to stay in London? Yes, me too. I love the city and I’m enjoying living there.”
The 33-year-old was awared the Golden Glove at the Confederations Cup, and he was delighted with the accolade.
“I’m very happy for winning the Golden Glove,” he said. “It’s a great award and it’s going to my collection.”
