Leroy Fer to sign on loan at Swansea from QPR By Lyall Thomas

Swansea are set to sign QPR midfielder Leroy Fer on loan for the rest of the season, Sky sources understand. The 26-year-old Netherlands international is understood to be in Wales finalising terms, although there will be no future permanent deal written into the deal.
Rangers have been keen to offload high earners from their wage bill, with Charlie Austin and Sandro both moving back to the Premier League with Southampton and West Brom respectively.
It is also understood goalkeeper Robert Green could move to Crystal Palace before the deadline, with the Eagles' keeper Alex McCarthy currently at Fulham finalising a 93-day emergency loan.
Fer has played 19 times for QPR this season and been in good form - he was one of the Premier League's best performers in midfield last season despite the West London club's relegation to the Championship.
He signed for Rangers from Norwich for £8m in August 2014 and has scored eight goals in over 50 games for the squad.
