Jose Mourinho's position as Chelsea manager is not under immediate threat, Sky Sports News HQ understands.

Chelsea lost for the sixth time in 11 Premier League games, beaten 3-1 by Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Despite the defeat, there are no talks, according to Sky sources, taking place within the club's hierarchy regarding the manager's future, and that the Portuguese is "planning as usual" for Wednesday's Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev.

Jose Mourinho: Chelsea boss says he will remain in charge



Manager Jose Mourinho believes he will be given time to turn around Chelsea's fortunes after Liverpool fought back from a goal down to inflict a sixth Premier League defeat this season.
The champions, who are also out of the League Cup, are 15th in the table following Saturday's 3-1 home loss.
Asked if he thought it was his last game in charge, he said: "No, I don't."
The 52-year-old told BBC Sport: "The fans aren't stupid. They know how much myself and the players are trying."
Mourinho has never lost more than six league matches in an entire league campaign as Chelsea manager, and says both he and the team will continue to battle.
"The fight goes on, but sometimes there are fights very impossible to win. You go to a fight with different ammunition," he added, having been photographed in discussion with his coaches on the pitch after the match.

Chelsea made the perfect start when Ramires headed them into the lead. But two goals from Philippe Coutinho and a third from Christian Benteke gave Jurgen Klopp's side the three points.
In the BT Sport interview, the Portuguese manager looked visibly shaken and responded with questions about his team's performance and his future by repeating, "I have nothing to say".
And in his BBC interview, when asked about Liverpool midfielder Lucas not receiving a second yellow, Mourinho responded with, "I don't speak" before adding in his news conference later that he feared he would be reprimanded if he did express his views.
"I am punished if I tell you," he said, as he awaits the outcome of two disciplinary matters.
He then cryptically added: "And what happened in the second half, everything was the consequence of a crucial moment. Everybody in the stadium saw, the players felt it. What happens is now a consequence."
Mourinho said his relationship with the press would change  in the build up to last week's defeat against West Ham. It was in reaction to the reporting of him being filmed by members of the public using mobile phones.
n Saturday's news conference, he added: "As professionals the players are not getting the respect they deserve. We are not going to have a great Saturday dinner.
"I am sorry about lack of respect for professionals. You are intelligent guys. At the next press conference I will bring you nice glasses and you will see things in a better way."

Roman Abramovich, the Chelsea owner, is prepared to fire the most popular manager in the club’s history if Jose Mourinho fails to turn results around.
The club slumped to a 3-1 defeat at home to Liverpool on Saturday — their third loss in a week — and are 14 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City.
Chelsea fans chanted their manager’s name during the game, but the club have made it known that his job is under threat.
The manager spent 15 minutes talking to coaching staff on the pitch after the defeat and will take charge of training on Sunday.
Mourinho was convinced players backed him after a team meeting on Friday and that seemed well-founded when Ramires scored.
But Liverpool hit back with two superb Philippe Coutinho goals and a strike from substitute Christian Benteke.

Mourinho, appealing against FA charges over post-match comments and facing a charge of misconduct, was backed by the board after a 3-1 defeat by Southampton last month, but told results must improve.
Chelsea have won one of their last eight games and have a difficult Champions League clash with Dinamo Kiev this week.

Chelsea first-team member would 'rather lose than win for Jose Mourinho' as crisis continues at Stamford Bridge

A member of Chelsea's first-team squad would 'rather lose than win' for Jose Mourinho, according to BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Garry Richardson.
Mourinho's future as Chelsea manager looks increasingly insecure after a 3-1 defeat by Liverpool on Saturday, Philippe Coutinho scoring twice at Stamford Bridge as the champions lost for the sixth time in just 11 Premier League games.
The beleaguered Blues boss was given public backing by owner Roman Abramovich last month, but since then the team's form has not improved while a number of players continue to struggle for form.

And speaking on Sunday morning, Sportsweek's Richardson claimed that Mourinho's relationship with his player had hit 'rock bottom'.
He said: 'Let me tell you what I know on the Chelsea story. My information comes from a Chelsea first team player.
'The information was actually passed to me by a football contact. I was told that Jose Mourinho's relationship with many of his players is at rock bottom.
'I was told they're fed up with the way he's been dealing with some of them. They're fed up with his outbursts.
I was told that his relationship particularly with Eden Hazard was under immense strain.
'Here's a staggering quote. One player said recently, "I'd rather lose than win for him".
Now that last quote may well have been said in the heat of the moment, but it perhaps gives an insight into the mood of some of the players.'
Chelsea looked like they might banish some of the blues when they went ahead in the fourth minute with Brazil midfielder Ramires heading in from a cross by Cesar Azpilicueta.
But the game swung Liverpool's way with two goals from Coutinho before substitute Christian Benteke added the third in the 83rd minute to heap more misery on Mourinho.

The Portuguese declined to respond directly to questions about whether Liverpool midfielder Lucas, who had already been booked, should have been shown a second yellow card by referee Mark Clattenburg for tripping Ramires who was bursting forward with the scores level at 1-1.
Mourinho was given a heavy fine and a suspended one-match stadium ban for criticising refereeing decisions earlier in the season and he was banished to the stands in Chelsea's previous game, a defeat at West Ham.
He did, though, appear to allude to the Lucas incident in his post-match news conference.
'Everything is a consequence of some crucial moments, moments that the stadium saw,' he said.
'The players more than see, they felt it and from now what happens is just a consequence.'

輸畀利物浦後，有《BBC》記者話一名唔肯透露身分嘅球員爆料，摩連奴喺更衣室內已失去統治威信，球員寧願繼續輸波，都唔想幫摩佬贏。如果事件屬實，一般情形，摩佬冇得留低，但事隔兩日都冇動靜，有兩個可能性。

第1，如外界所講，油王俾多兩場波時間考驗摩佬，但十三質疑呢個講法，輸1場「車利大戰」已經有好充足理由可炒，既然球員都冇心機幫佢再踢波，點解要等周中歐聯都凍過水先「開刀」？第2，係十三比較相信嘅理由，就係油王根本唔想陪嗰3000萬鎊賠償金，或者搵唔到有咩人接掌球隊，所以至少等到1月轉會窗重開增兵，再從長計議，睇下扭唔扭轉到上半季劣績。

不管如何，倘若摩佬真係捱到1月，油王係咪肯大開水喉俾佢增兵又未必；與其買艾度巴巴同迪積洛保積呢啲自己根本唔信賴嘅三線兵，十三覺得有兩個人好適宜短期內過嚟，幫佢重整吓軍心，就係過檔美職嘅兩位車仔舊臣杜奧巴（Didier Drogba）同林柏特（Frank Lampard）。

兩人都唔係離開咗好耐，喺球會地位又舉足輕重，以佢哋過去同摩佬嘅交情，絕對信賴得過，或者可充當和事佬，修補下摩佬同其他球員嘅關係；另外，兩個月嘅借用費唔會幾貴，油王絕對俾得起，而對現在的車路士嚟講，陣中唔係冇猛人，只係全隊波失去信心，搵兩位可重振士氣嘅老大哥番嚟，勝過買幾個唔知啱唔啱用嘅球星。
