Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Arijan Ademi failed a drugs test after their 2-1 Champions League win over Arsenal last month.

UEFA are now carrying out an investigation which could result in a two-year ban for Ademi if his B sample also tests positive.

It is unlikely to have an effect on the result.

A club statement read: “Our players have been regularly subjected to doping controls for years after European and league games, and never has anything like this ever happened, so that we have to say that we are surprised by this result.
