In a press conference, Molde boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms he withdrew from the running to be next Aston Villa boss for family reasons. Asked what Villa's reaction had been when he told them, he said: "I had a very open, honest and very nice dialogue with [Villa owner] Mr Lerner and he really understood my decision. He was really understanding."
