Wigan Athletic winger Victor Moses has emerged as a January target for Tottenham & Liverpool
Victor Moses' agent has revealed that talks over a new contract at Wigan have stalled, alerting the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool reports the London Metro.
The 21-year-old winger has been in scintillating form for the Latics this season, and is highly regarded by a number of clubs in the Barclays Premier League, with Sunderland also believed to be interested in securing his signature.
Moses' representative Tony Finnigan has expressed his frustration that no agreement has been reached, and whilst he insists his client remains committed to the Latics, if he isn't offered the terms he deserves then Moses may be forced to move on.
We talked to Wigan about a contract five weeks ago but still haven't seen anything," he told Sky Sports News. "Yes we have had talks, discussions, but there has been nothing in writing.
"He is obviously on the radar of other clubs, he is a young player in the Premier League playing really well.
"He is one of the most exciting young talents in the country, but he is contracted to Wigan and is very happy with life at the club."
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish is a known admirer of Moses, and may look to entice him to Anfield before the end of the transfer window if negotiations continue to stall.
Despite recruiting heavily last summer, Liverpool are still looking to bring in the brightest young talent from around Europe, and Moses could improve Dalglish's wide midfield options.
However, the Reds may face competition from Spurs boss Harry Redknapp who is also keen on the promising youngster and may try and lure him to White Hart Lane.
A bid of around £8million would almost certainly convince Roberto Martinez to sell, as he plots a January reshuffle of his Wigan squad, to aid his sides battle against relegation.
"My phone goes all the time," added Finnigan. "Victor's got his admirers out there.
"But as I said he is contracted to Wigan, happy and until he is told otherwise, he will remain committed to the club."
