Manchester United's Tom Cleverley ruled out for four weeks with foot injury

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley will be out for four weeks after sustaining an injury in their win away at Bolton on Saturday.
Cleverley was on the receiving end of a strong challenge from Bolton striker Kevin Davies early in the first half, and it had been feared that he had fractured a bone in his foot.
Ferguson, however, confirmed via the club’s official website that he has suffered ligament damage and is set to return in four weeks.
The twenty-two year old has started the season in good form in a central midfield partnership alongside Anderson, and was recently called up to the England squad. He was replaced on Saturday by Michael Carrick.
Cleverley adds to a growing list of potential absences through injury ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League match away at Benfica, which following their match at Bolton may include Jonny Evans and Patrice Evra.
The United manager added: "Jonny got a knee in the hip in the second half which was pretty painful and is a doubt for Wednesday [against Benfica], while Patrice got a kick on the kneecap. We'll have a look at them on Sunday."
