Real Madrid sign Porto full-back Danilo



European champions Real Madrid have completed the signing of Brazil international right-back Danilo from Porto on a six-year deal.

"Real Madrid and Porto have reached an agreement for the transfer of Danilo, who will join next season and be tied to the club until June 30, 2021," the club said in a statement on Wednesday.

A statement by Porto to the Portuguese stock exchange said the deal was worth 31.5m euros (£23m).

The 23-year-old joined Porto from Santos in 2012 and has won two league titles with the Portuguese giants, as well as playing a big part in their run to the quarter-final of this season's Champions League, where they will face Bayern Munich next month.

Danilo also won a silver medal with Brazil at the 2012 Olympics and has become a regular with his national team since Dunga took charge of the five-time world champions following a disappointing World Cup on home soil last year

這名巴西右閘近月與皇馬扯上關係，並曾向西班牙《阿斯報》表示：「對於皇馬對自己有興趣，我感到很開心。不過我在波圖有很美滿的時刻，季尾將會與球會相討有關前途，到時會決定那個選擇是對自己最好。」丹尼路雷斯將與皇馬簽約6年，直至2021年6月30日。

丹尼路雷斯自去年世界盃後取得國家隊正選位置，而在最近巴西對法國和智利的友誼賽，亦以正選右後衛亮相，至今合共擁有14頂喼帽。丹尼路雷斯的加盟，將與同位置艾比路亞和卡華積爭取上陣機會。

Danilo signs for Real Madrid on six-year deal

Danilo has completed his £23m move to join Real Madrid from Porto.

The Spanish giants announced the deal in April but the Brazil full-back has now completed and passed his medical before signing a six-year deal.

Danilo, 23, will be competing with Dani Carvajal for a place in the starting line-up under new manager Rafa Benitez.

He missed the Copa America due to injury but will be on the plane when Madrid travel to Australia on July 12, to play in the International Champions Cup.

Danilo said: "Today, a dream comes true, which is signing for Real Madrid. It is without doubt one of the happiest days of my life.

"I am going to give it my all on the pitch in each and every game. I know no other way of competing, and so - let's go, Real!"

Former Liverpool manager Benitez's first game in charge is against Roma at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on July 18 with the clash against Manchester City scheduled at the MCG a week later.
