Hamburg are set to sign their fourth Chelsea player of the summer and add Serbia international Slobodan Rajkovic to bolster their defensive lines, Voetbal International reports.

Former Chelsea director of football Frank Arnesen has taken on a similar role at Hamburg this summer, and was quick to plunder the west London side, recruiting Michael Mancienne, Jeffrey Bruma and Gokhan Tore, and now he seems to be intent on adding Rajkovic, who is prevented from playing for the Blues due to work-permit issues.

Rajkovic, 22, has had successful loan spells at Eredivisie sides PSV, Twente and Vitesse, and would be a valuable addition to the Hamburg defence, who have shipped 10 goals in just three Bundesliga games so far this season.

The Serbian centre-back will reportedly join Hamburg on a four-year deal for a ?3 million fee.

Agent reveals interest from 'few clubs' in Dirk Kuyt but insists player is focused on Liverpool

The Dutchman's representative says that although the player is happy to remain at Anfield, he needs to be playing regular first-team football

The agent of Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt has revealed that the Dutchman has been attracting interest from other clubs.

The Dutch international, who joined Liverpool from Feyenoord in 2006, has long been a regular in the starting XI, largely in a right-sided midfield role. However, Kuyt was overlooked on the opening day of the season against Sunderland, and following a summer of big-spending from the red half of Merseyside, is no longer an automatic choice for manager Kenny Dalglish.

Kuyt's representative Rob Jansen admits that while Kuyt wants to stay at Anfield he'll consider his options should he fail to regain his place in the side, before confirming there had been no concrete offers made for the 30-year-old.

"Dirk wants to stay at Liverpool, but we will look at his situation about whether or not to play," Jansen told AP. "Right now, Dirk is focused on Liverpool.

"There a few clubs who are very following Dirk, but there is nothing concrete. Is Internazionale interested? I don't know."

Kuyt is currently under contract at Anfield until 2013, having signed a new deal in April.

Vitesse sign Blues youngster
Teenage Chelsea defender sent out to get experience

Vitesse Arnhem have confirmed they have signed defender Tomas Kalas from Chelsea on loan.

The 18-year-old, who began his career at Sigma Olomouc, was bought by the Premier League outfit last year.

However, he was loaned straight back to his former club as he was deemed not quite ready for first-team action.

This latest switch should see him gain more experience before he returns to try and contest a place in Andre Villas-Boas' team.

Skysports.com understands that Celtic and Everton are tracking Birmingham defender Liam Ridgewell.

Ridgewell is likely to leave Birmingham before the close of the transfer window with the club resigned to losing their top stars.

The versatile defender is under contract until 2013 but Birmingham would be willing to let him leave at the right price to ease their financial problems following their relegation to the Championship.

Ridgewell, who joined Birmingham from Aston Villa in 2007, has established himself as a key player at St Andrew's and helped them win the Carling Cup last season.

The 27-year-old's versatility in that he can play in central defence as well as left-back makes him an attractive proposition for a number of clubs with West Brom holding a long-term interest in the player.

However, Celtic and Everton are now thought to be keeping tabs on Ridgewell's situation as they look to bolster their squads.

Celtic are desperate to bring in a left-back after losing Emilio Izaguirre to a long-term injury, while Everton could be in the market for defensive reinforcements should they be forced to sell either Phil Jagielka or Leighton Baines before the close of the transfer window.

AZ Alkmaar have confirmed goalkeeper Sergio Romero has signed for Sampdoria in a deal worth 3.5million euros (£3.1m).

The 24-year-old was said to be looking for a new challenge after four years in Holland and still had two years left on his old contract.

During his time with Alkmaar he helped them to claim the Eredivisie title and the Dutch Cup.

Romero was Argentina's first-choice goalkeeper at the 2010 World Cup and this summer's Copa America.

Skysports.com understands several Premier League sides are keeping tabs on Millwall midfielder Liam Trotter.

Attacking midfielder Trotter has enjoyed a fine start to the new season for Millwall, with two goals in four games.

The 22-year-old's performances at The Den have not gone unnoticed by Premier League clubs with the likes of Arsenal, Everton, Bolton and Wigan all recently having had scouts in attendance to watch Trotter in action.

Trotter was one of Millwall's top performers last term and he was rewarded for his progress with a new deal last January.

Millwall would be reluctant to lose Trotter with the former Ipswich man establishing himself as a key member of Kenny Jackett's side, but they could find it difficult to keep hold of him if any of his suitors firm up their interest.
