PSV Eindhoven are poised to sign striker Tim Matavz from FC Groningen for around 8million euros (£7.1m).

The 22-year-old Slovenia international will sign a five-year deal at the Philips Stadion subject to passing a medical.

Matavz enjoyed a fruitful season last year when he scored 16 goals in the Eredivisie for Groningen and also represented his country at the 2010 World Cup.

His form last season was rewarded with a contract extension which currently runs until 2013.

Eindhoven's technical director Marcel Brands has ruled out bringing in any more players if a deal for Matavz is concluded.

Yossi Benayoun has confirmed that he could make a move away from Chelsea on transfer deadline day.

The Israel international was unable to make a significant impact at Stamford Bridge following his arrival last summer, as he suffered an Achilles injury that kept him out for most of last season.

The 31-year-old, who has two years left on his current contract with Chelsea, also gave away his No.10 shirt to new signing Juan Mata, and was linked with a move away from the Blues with Lille, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham being touted as potential destinations.

"I am supposed to fly in the morning to London to speak with Chelsea and try to close a contract in one of the teams mentioned," Benayoun said on Twitter.

Kucka and Viviano swap clubs
Both players to remain at present sides for now

Inter Milan and Genoa have confirmed they have swapped ownerships of Emiliano Viviano and Juraj Kucka, but both players will stay at their current clubs on loan.

Kucka only moved to Italy from Sparta Prague in January, making 18 appearances for Genoa last season.

However, the 24-year-old Slovakia international has now signed a five-year deal with Inter but will remain at Genoa until at least January.

Italy goalkeeper Viviano meanwhile will remain in Milan until at least the New Year as he recovers from an anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered during pre-season.

The 25-year-old has spent the last two seasons at Bologna in a co-ownership deal before Inter bought his full registration earlier this summer.

The futures of both Kucka and Viviano will be reassessed during the January transfer window.

據英國《衛報》披露，阿仙奴將在轉會窗最後一天正式宣佈簽下朴周永、梅迪薩卡和山度士3名低價實用的球員，該報稱3人的轉會費相加僅有1560萬鎊。此外，槍手還很有可能在最後關頭花費5000萬鎊購買森巴、馬維拿和馬雲馬田。


《衛報》在英國以嚴肅傳媒著稱，最近該報曾率先披露利物浦敲定高迪斯、拿斯尼拒絕踢歐聯篤定加盟曼城等消息，事後證明都非常準確。在夏季轉會期最後一天，《衛報》宣稱，阿仙奴非常有可能將宣佈6宗交易。


《衛報》稱，在球隊2比8慘敗給曼聯後，雲加在轉會市場上的態度明顯轉變。以梅迪薩卡為例，此前雲加認為该名代表德國打了75場國際比賽的後防大將速度較慢。但現在，雲加更看重梅迪薩卡的實力、經驗和低廉的價錢。《衛報》稱，梅迪薩卡的轉會費是900萬歐羅（760萬鎊）。

在8月31日，阿仙奴幾乎肯定將宣佈簽下梅迪薩卡、安德列山度士和朴周永。其中，阿仙奴已在官網宣佈了朴周永得到9號球衣，但沒有註冊手續還沒有完成。此前，有傳媒稱朴周永從降班的摩納哥加盟的轉會費達1000萬鎊，而後又有300萬鎊的傳言，而《衛報》給出的價錢極低，只有180萬鎊。再加上620萬鎊加盟的巴西國腳山度士，雲加購買3名強人只花費了1560萬鎊，與艾殊利楊格的轉會費基本相當。

搞掂上述3人後，阿仙奴仍在抓緊時間繼續買人。《衛報》稱，即便買下了梅迪薩卡，雲加對布力般流浪的中堅森巴仍未死心。據悉，布力般流浪已願意以1200萬鎊左右的價錢出售森巴，因為球員本人希望離隊。

另外，雲加有可能購買的兩名球員是法甲的馬維拿和馬雲馬田，尤其前者是阿仙奴急缺的中場大將，而馬雲馬田堪稱前場多面手。不過，兩家法甲球會都索要2500萬鎊上下的高價，成為了交易的阻滯。但雲加仍希望利用在法甲的人脈搞掂這兩筆轉會。如果完成上述3宗交易，阿仙奴至少需要花費5000萬鎊。

《衛報》稱，若交易受阻，阿仙奴也可能選擇車路士期待清洗的兩位老將馬路達和班拿約。《鏡報》還透露了一個較少被提及的人選，那就是拉素前鋒沙拉特。總之，8月31日，雲加將十分忙碌。
