Allegri & Marchisio agree Juventus renewals 
Juventus have confirmed that coach Massimiliano Allegri has committed his future to the club along with midfielder Claudio Marchisio. Allegri has signed a one-year extension to his contract and is now tied to the Serie A champions until June 2017. The 47-year-old joined Juve in the summer of 2014 to replace Antonio Conte following the latter's decision to step down, signing a two-year deal with the Turin giants.
Allegri guided Juventus to the domestic double in his first season in charge, while also leading them to the Champions League final, and has now been rewarded with a 12-month extension to his existing deal.
"Allegri has recently extended his contract by a further year," club president Andrea Agnelli stated at a press conference on Monday.
The Livorno-born coach had been in charge of clubs such as Sassuolo, Cagliari and Milan before taking the reins at Juve last year.
Meanwhile, Juventus have also announced the contract renewal of Marchisio.
"Marchisio has signed a five-year contract extension with the club," added Agnelli. "He will be an important figure in the dressing room to explain what Juventus means to our new arrivals."
The Italy international's previous contract was due to expire at the end of the 2015-16 campaign, but he has now signed a new deal with the Serie A champions until June 2020.
"It's a feeling that sits alongside my first training session in 1993. I'm delighted to wear the shirt I've always wanted," the midfielder stated on his new deal.
"Finding the motivation to keep giving even more is what matters most. My love for Juventus helps me give everything I've got in each training session and game.
"The Champions League will be tough as it is every year, but we must keep consolidating our position on the European stage."
Marchisio is a product of the Juventus youth academy and has developed into a key figure ever since returning to his boyhood club from a one-year loan spell with Empoli in 2007-08.
The 29-year-old has made over 300 appearances in all competitions for Juve, winning four Serie A titles, two Supercoppe Italiana and one Coppa Italia.
He also had his say on the arrival of Sami Khedira and Mario Mandzukic, as well as the exit of Andrea Pirlo to New York City FC.
"Khedira and Mandzukic offer added quality and Champions League experience. Whoever has come into our dressing room over the past few years has always settled in well.
"Pirlo has been an important player for Juventus, he's helped me out a great deal over the years."
