Manchester City are reportedly preparing to make a big offer to Milan for the services of defender Thiago Silva.
According to Milannews.it, the English club are set to offer the Rossoneri ?40 million for the talented centre-back.
The website claims that should such an offer come in of this magnitude, the directors would seriously consider selling the stopper, despite saying that he is not on the transfer market.
It is not the first time that the Citizens are linked to the Brazilian, having shown an interest in him earlier during the summer transfer window, but failed to propose a bid.
Real Madrid were also closely monitoring the 25-year-old, having allegedly made an offer for the player of ?20m plus Rafael Van Der Vaart.
