Robert Snodgrass: Hull boss Steve Bruce confirms six-month lay-off Hull manager Steve Bruce has confirmed Robert Snodgrass will be out for at least six months with a knee injury, BBC Radio Humberside reports. The Scotland winger, 26, came off at half-time in Saturday's 1-0 win at QPR.
Speaking before the team flew out to Belgium for Thursday's Europa League tie with Lokeren, Bruce said Snodgrass would see a specialist on Wednesday.
The player tweeted: "Gutted ....!!! But I will work as hard as I can to come back fitter and stronger."
Snodgrass joined Hull in a £6m deal from relegated Norwich this summer.
Speaking after Saturday's match, Bruce said: "Snodgrass is a concern. He's twisted his knee. He's in a brace and crutches at the moment.
"We fear ligament damage and, if it is, it'll obviously be a long time."Snodgrass scored seven goals in 34 appearances last season as the Canaries were relegated from the Premier League.
Should a six-month lay-off be confirmed, Snodgrass would also miss Scotland's four opening European Championship qualifiers, as well as a friendly against England in November.
