Reina open to summer exit
Pepe Reina insists he is "very happy and satisfied" with his position at Liverpool, but has not entirely closed the door on the prospect of a move away from Anfield this summer.
Pepe Reina's future remains clouded
Barcelona have been constantly linked with a move for the 30-year-old goalkeeper, who is currently on international duty with Spain at the Confederations Cup in Brazil, but it seems as if Reina is in no rush to leave his settled life on Merseyside.
"I’m very happy and satisfied at Liverpool, I feel valued and respected," he told Spanish radio station Onda Cero. "Logically, if there was a chance to improve and go to a bigger club it would be a good opportunity, although there are few clubs bigger than Liverpool.
"My situation is clear. I have a three-year contract with Liverpool and although in football you can never tell, the best option for my family is for me to stick with Liverpool."
Meanwhile, reports in several British newspapers have suggested that Liverpool have made a bid to sign Sunderland keeper Simon Mingolet.
