after undergoing a scan yesterday, the defender will miss at least the next fortnight through injury. 
It means Sagna
will sit out Sunday's trip to West Bromwich, France's clashes against Australia and Finland and is facing a race against time to prove his fitness for the visit of Norwich on October 19.Carl Jenkinson is likely to deputise for the 30-year-old against Steve Clarke's side on Sunday.
Sagna's absence is the latest in a long line of injuries to have disrupted Arsenal's stunning start to the season.Ten of the club's first team squad have missed games
through injury this season, with Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski among those currently nursing problems.
