Alvaro Morata expected to rejoin Real Madrid from Juventus

Alvaro Morata will rejoin Real Madrid this summer, according to Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta.

The striker ended a six-year spell with Real in 2014 to join Juventus, but Los Blancos have an option to buy back the Spain international for a fee rumoured to be 30m euros.

It is unclear whether Morata is wanted by the Champions League winners for next season or if he will then be sold on for a profit, with a number of English clubs reported to be interested.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have been linked with the striker, and the Gunners, along with Tottenham, tried to sign him when he joined Juve two years ago.

"Real Madrid will exercise their right to repurchase," Marotta said in quotes on Marca.

"We expect their offer in writing in the coming day, then we'll see, but the number of possibilities that remain are few, and we will try to replace him with an equally-good player."

Morata, 23, has started both of Spain's matches at Euro 2016 so far and scored twice in Friday's 3-0 win against Turkey.

Juventus has not given up on re acquiring Morata but Real Madrid had to exercise buy back clause (below his market value) by June 30th

正征戰歐國盃的西班牙國腳艾華路莫拉達（Alvaro Morata），獲官方證實下季可能重返皇馬，「老婦人」祖雲達斯即使萬般不願，仍要接受合約上的附加條款。

「老婦人」總經理馬路達表示：「皇馬確定啟動回購條款，我們等待官方報價，才能決定下一步如何走。我們評估整件事如何處理，唯一肯定的是，我們一起的時間進入最後倒數。」

據知，英超勁旅阿仙奴曾開價5000萬歐元，皇馬只是開出3000萬歐元，但基於合約列明的優先次序，只要後者報價達到最低水平，「老婦人」亦只能放人。

年僅23歲的莫拉達2014年由皇馬改投祖雲達斯，現時全力征戰歐國盃，今季在意甲上陣34場射入7球。

It is official, Alvaro Morata is a Real Madrid player after the club decided to activate the buy-back clause and pay Juventus ?30 million.
Now Real Madrid must decide whether to keep him or to sell him.
With regards to the latter, all roads lead to London where Chelsea and Arsenal are looking for a striker and are prepared to offer a lot of money to the player.
Especially since Arsenal seem to have missed out on Vardy and Chelsea could sell Diego Costa back to Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea have already lined up a back-up plan should they fail to sign Morata, in Romelu Lukaku, whom they've already asked Everton for.

However, it can't be excluded that Juventus could reopen talks with Real Madrid to bring Morata back in a few weeks time.
Today's resigning was an act that Real Madrid had to do before the clause expires.
