Tottenham could cash in on Mousa Dembele this summer as Mauricio Pochettino looks to strengthen his squad for another crack at the Champions League.

According to the Daily Mirror, Spurs are open to the idea of selling the popular Belgian despite him being an integral part of their midfield.

It is believed they would listen to offers for Dembele, who attracted interest from the Chinese Super League in January.

Pochettino, meanwhile, is already keeping an eye on possible replacements as he looks to build on another impressive campaign in charge.

Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes, who has found playing time hard to come by at the Nou Camp and described his time at the club as 'hell' earlier this season, is one option for the Argentine.

Spurs have also kept tabs on Atalanta's Bryan Cristante, who has scored eight goals in 31 Serie A appearances to help his side to eighth in the table.

Dembele will have just 12 months remaining on his contract at the end of the season and is not keen to open talks over a new deal until after the World Cup.

The 30-year-old excelled in Tottenham's run to the last 16 of the Champions League and would still command a large fee should he move this summer.

Although Spurs are not looking to ship out Dembele, defender Toby Alderweireld and striker Fernando Llorente are likely to leave north London.
