Tottenham Hotspur are working on a deal to sign Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus. The Athletic understands a deal could be a loan with an option or obligation to buy. Kulusevski's contract at Juventus runs until 2025.
Kulusevski, 21, has made 20 Serie A appearances for Juventus this season but has only started in half of those, completing the full 90 minutes just three times.
Tottenham’s head coach Antonio Conte has made it clear his new side must revamp their squad if they are to challenge at the top end of the Premier League. They currently sit seventh.
But the Premier League club have so far endured something of a frustrating month.
Tottenham were in talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers for Adama Traore only for the Spain international to agree a deal with Barcelona instead.
And another of their targets, Porto’s Luis Diaz, is in talks with Premier League rivals Liverpool.
