Update: Wallace opted out of his $9.5-million player option for the 2012-13 season, ESPN.com reports.
Recommendation: That will make Wallace an unrestricted free agent on July 1. The Nets hope to sign Wallace to a multi-year deal, but he's sure to get interest from other teams as well. The 29-year-old veteran averaged 13.8 points and 6.7 rebounds while splitting time between Nets and Blazers last season.
