Nov 17 After feeling a pop in his left hamstring on Monday, Boozer underwent an MRI, which has revealed a strain worse than the one that has kept him sidelined since early in training camp. According to Dr. Lyle Mason, the Jazz' team orthopedist, the forward will be sidelined for at least another month. Boozer was limited to just 51 games last season, due to ankle and foot problems. In those contests, he averaged 17.8 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 34.8 minutes.
Advice: According to Mason, Boozer will start a new rehab program from the beginning once the inflammation in his leg has subsided. Don't expect him back any time soon.
